Soft back sport seats in 95 993
I was asked today how rare is it for a 1995 993 with sport seat (soft back) option. I have no idea.
Did a search but couldn't find any indication of how rare.

They were used until approximately mid February 1995 production. From that point onwards, sport seats were the later "hard backed" style.
So for roughly 17 months of 993 production (13 months on cars destined for North America as production for that market began later) these were the optional seats. Exact numbers or even a percentage of cars? Good luck finding that information.

What does a set of softback sport seats go for? Hard backs are too much for my blood, maybe I'll start hunting for a pair of soft backs.
Plus I've sat in both and love the Soft backs a lot more. They just hug your body soo much better.
