Default Acceptable LSD gear condition

Rebuilding transmission. Adding LSD with guards plates. Plates are good. But my mechanic does not like the condition of the gears.
Just wondering what I should be looking for condition wise. The biggest sign of wear are the horizontal striations on the teeth face. Some are shiny. Some have these hair line gouges. I don't want to put anything worn back into my rebuilt tranny. But what do people think about theses gears?
Thanks

These look very similar to what I've seen in a lot of diffs. Haven't had any problems with them
though. You could consider REM treating them though especially since once disassembled you've
likely lost the pairing between them.

Those look fine. Those are machine marks. They were there when new. Don't rem them. Put it back together and have fun.
