Default Spring sound in my convertible top

Anyone ever have what sounds like a springing noise in their convertible top. Happens when I am turning at low speed and going over bumps at slower speeds. freakin annoying as hell!!!! Any insight would be great.

I'll have to hear it next drive we take. There are cables that could be rubbing.

I know your post is almost 4 years old but I have a noise issue above my head from the top that is driving me crazy. I was told its in the top but cant find it...curious if you ever solved yours?

sorry for resurrecting an old thread. I have the same sounds, how do I access the springs to lubricant them? Where is it located?

https://parts.porscheofannapolis.com...ng-91156140303

that image suggests it’s in the middle? Do I have to disassemble the top to access it?
