Bilstein B8 + M033 springs - ride height correct?
Hi guys
just changed suspensions and control arms on the car, but I still feel it a bit whobling...is this the correct height for this setup?
thanks!

You didn't mention if the car had an alignment. If not, that is a critical step in handling for 993s.
Hard to tell from your pics regarding height. What height are you aiming for ROW? Check your measurements at reference points and see ihow it compares to specs.

i had a similar post from last week that should only be on page 2 or 3. I found the B8s to have less height adjustability than the B6 (with extra threads which I had on my other 993). To that end, my plan is to remove the locking collar on the front shocks and bring to front down as low as the B8s will allow (should be somewhere slightly above RS I would think). Then I am going to adjust the back to get the appropriate rake based on the factory reference points since there appears to be a greater range of adjustability with the rear shocks.

Do you have any safety concerns to let only one collar, bottomed out on the thread support the front spring? Is this an approved install method by Bilstein? Maybe it is and I haven't seen it, but just thinking about it spooks me out a little. I'm imagining hitting a large bump at 70mph. The other thing is, your shop will lose the ability to corner balance the car if the fronts become unadjustable.
My 993 is a street car....for spirited sunday drives and PCA stuff. It has 30k miles on it. If I were racing it, I would have an entirely different suspension that could be perfectly set up, including corner balancing, but Im not as concerned given its use. I agree with you that I am limiting adjustability. For my purposes, this setup is 100% better than stock, allows for heigh adjustability and I know I can get a good alignment out of it because its my second time doing it.

I still feel the car very wobbling on fast corners... Should I feel the car more planted if:
1- I lower the set
2- substitute the M033 by the M030?
3- if I go number 2, should I change anything else other than the springs?
Thanks guys!

hi again guys
After analysing the chart the car is a ROW and is with the USA height!!!?!?
What could have happened?
What makes the different heights in ROW vs USA? The springs?
Thanks
