It was raining this morning so the conditions weren't ideal. Mistakes that I know I made are being careful about the edges lining up with the bumpercover but not incorporating that level across the face of the insert. Luckily these aren't my final inserts, just a test set that I decided to try and finish off to see where the problems lay.

From the printer in regards to fab time......

4 sets of 4 parts (16 individual parts) takes 28 hours for printing and support removal. So 50 sets of 2 would take about a week and a half to be ready to ship all of the parts.

Well at the moment I'm just getting 40 sets so that'll knock 2.66 days off of that estimate.

I had an idea last night whereby I would get my Dremel and remove a little bit(2-3mm) from the bottom of the bumperette holes on each side about 3mm in and see if I could insert the untrimmed piece in and have an edge on each side. That would be ideal. Might be too tight though, I guess I'll know later.

At this stage I'm unconcerned about the bumpercover as it'll need some work anyway to fix some paint issues caused by installing and removing various test pieces.
