Default Odd blue 993 my neighbor's selling

Thought you guys may know what this is? Sorry was dark in his garage. Not sure if I like it but it was offered to me.

If it is an odd blue like my car, I'll take it.

I believe it's rather odd for a Riviera blue car to have a paint code of S8.

Also, why does that paint code sticker have a 928 part number on it? Is that normal on a 993?

Thats the p/n for the paint code sticker.

In years 1988 - 1998 part number changed to 928.701.167.04. Corner radius was smaller, font remaind the same.

Isn't S8 the original code for the 968 Riviera Blau ... ?

Riv blau paint code is 3AG or 39E depending on whether it was the water based system or the older urethane system
