This is one of those jobs that's a pain, but worth it.

I did some research and found a model guy talking about this Krylon paint, very shiny, but you can't clearcoat it, and it's even best to not touch it.

Very easy to spray, dries very fast.

Awesome. On my list now that I replaced my headlight glass and in comparison my fog lights look like tobacco stained horrors.

FYI The link to buy the lenses is in post #12, and I used the adhesive shown in post #24.

I purchased and tried several LED H3 bulbs for the fog lights, but they were all a total joke, more like nightlights.

Nice job, probably better than new by a long way and a good saving.

Thanks, my lenses were actually in great shape, it's just the yellowing plastic inside that made the units so fugly. Porsche should have asked Hella to spend another buck painting or metallizing the interior.

Of course, since I had new lenses, I did put them on!

Got my lenses from Daddy's Carparts today for this DIY.

Here is a picture of the cherry on the sundae:

My results - new fog lenses and clear corners. Thanks for documenting the fog light lens replacement process.

You should if like me the clouded fog lens next to sparkling new clear corners is distracting. Once you get past the idea of peeling back the outside lip of the plastic lens housing to get the lens off its all good. Spray painting the interior of the housing with chrome paint is a must and be patient as several light coats make for a great result.

Now if I can only find what I did with my bulb holders and LED bulbs for the parking lights this project will be complete, I may have to order new holders .
