So, finally got around to installing my fabspeed sport cats along with my fister stage 3 mufflers. I love it and yes it much louder than my 3s w/stock cat. The car sounds seriously pissed off but is surprisingly docile when cruising. Deeper growl below 4000 but once the cam hits the sound turns raspy and howls to redline. Neat!
So, finally got around to installing my fabspeed sport cats along with my fister stage 3 mufflers. I love it and yes it much louder than my 3s w/stock cat. What sort of space-time continuum must I be living in to drop my car's mufflers and then proceed to polish it ---- without getting three hundred eye rolls from the spouse and the kids???
I am impressed. Solid work. My Fisters are in worse cosmetic shape than your mufflers. I would like to do the same, but lack the courage to face up to familial disapproval!

Put in a new fuel pump. The old one started growling a bit and has 99k on it.

Went to Dinslaken Germany, for the annual Porsche Freund show with some other nutters.
Unrestricted roads in Germany, so it seems that 6400 rpm in 6th gear equates to 165mph . . .who'd have known!

put on some "Porsche" side strips. I like them better than the "Carrera" ones I had but still not sure if I love them. This was supposed to be grey color but they really look more silver in real life.

Burning Brakes
Replaced my dashboard today - I had cracks in the dash above the instrument cluster that were really bugging me. Bought a replacement off a Rennlister and did the swap today.

Rennline shift ****
When I bought my C4 four years ago, I loved everything about it except the cassette radio, the big 4 spoke steering wheel, and the leather covered shift ****. Two of the three were replaced early on. The shift **** was replaced today by one from Rennline. It looks and feels so good that I think I'll get their 3-brake handle as well.
