thanks for all the feedback!!!! The car seems to have many issues. Gary at Forward Automotive in Victoria just looked at it and top end needs rebuild, wheel wells have been cut to place the body kit and some misc stuff. Yikes!!!!!

so the question is:

Whats goin on here - cold feet?

If u read the AD it reads well. So here is the AD:

"This vehicle includes a 60 day / 2000 km limited warranty. It has been thoroughly reconditioned and professionally detailed. Includes a CarProof vehicle history and Pre-purchase inspection report."

Ad appears straight forward to me.

CarProof History and PPI Included

So what is the Poster saying here ?????? Whats the deal?

Esthetics aside - which is Personal Opinion - a car with 111 KM or 69,000 Miles - if cared for should not need a Rebuild, IMHO

$58 CDN is what $42K us >? $ are not out of line if the car were a Coupe - Provided it is all there IMHO..
I dont follow cab's. No Comment on value

I just hope this poster, (Is he a Member>? user? ) has a Report in writing -as the statement "Gary at Forward Automotive in Victoria just looked at it and top end needs rebuild" is a strong statement with possible implications.

The AD appears as full disclosure.
Keyword Appears. We should all be careful. How does the saying go? Believe half of what we read.....:>)

Looks wise, I have to see it in person But to each their own ie: Rauwelt or whatever...personal preference..I like tasteful Tribute cars.
My car is All original but been toying with Change/s. Thinkin of Building one myself - to my Spec and it will not meet the Traditionalists Standards LOL

It's not a coupe, its a Ruf poser that is not worth asking price, Never even saw a real Ruf cab, let alone a "tribute" car. As others have pointed out the body seams are out of kilter among other things. OP would be much better off buying a well sorted 100K + mile car for the same amount and not look back.

That car definitely wows me, but not in a good way.

What once was a very nice silver/red Cab, needs to be restored.....maybe someday.

I would be interested to hear why Gary says it needs a top end rebuild despite the car going through the Porsche dealer for service. I had a PPI done at Forward on a 964 a few years back and got a report on a dirty scrap piece of paper. I wouldn't go there again.
