Welcome to the mayhem here at RL993! I do love my 993, but trading away that '73 in Green would be a gut wrenching decision. But I can't argue with your next selection for a Pcar! I too miss my 914 (I'd miss it a LOT if it had been a -6!)

Thanks for all the compliments and the warm welcome to the club!
I had not really even considered lowering the car, but will now look into it.
Would be curious to hear thoughts/recommendations on servicing the car. Prior to the purchase I had a leak down & compression test done. Both came back really good! The car starts and runs perfectly. No issues.
Having said the above, I will be taking the car to the Porsche dealership here in Nashville to have the oil & oil filters changed. I will ask them to give the car a good once over to see if there is any deferred maintenance that needs to be addressed.
So guys, for a car with 21,700 miles that is running exceptionally well.......what things would you ask them to check or do for a first service?
