Default Forgeline GW3 wheels

anyone use forgeline gw3 wheel on their 993, 18" wheels
Photos appreciated.My car is SY. i like the forglines with the gold center but it looks t0 gold and not yellow enough.

Have you weighed them? Couldn't seen any weight specs in their website.

You might have a typo in there Bill. Unless you really are running a 19 inch front wheel!

How much do they weigh? The 19's I've got weigh a TON and I know they're robbing me of HP because of the rotating mass.

Personally I think the gold center would be too much for a SY 993. Your call though.

Mark,

I think its the moment of inertia that is increased with a heavier wheel; as the HP is what it is...

Nine,

Well the heavier the weight of the wheel the more power it takes to turn it and then stop it, that's why I was asking the weight My wheels are a "show" wheel, look great but do rob performance.

I use to race track bikes and the CF wheels were amazingly efficient because of the weight. I'd assume that it would work in the same way with our cars unless there's something in performance cars that work against the laws of physics?

I agree they are too yellow as are the E 88 yellow centers. Ended up going with the E 88's with the silver centers. The weight of the front wheel is 20 pounds wait a rear wheel 20.5 pounds
