Are AAAs margins so tight that they have to blow this off and upset a paying member? More like standard operating procedure. I hope they pay up and it turns out painfully for them.

Where's "the shut up and take my money" meme when you need it.

Seriously though, what's a bit of kit like this go for? I know what my motor build cost.. Almost afraid to ask what this thing of beauty will be

You are new to this forum, may I suggest you check out THIS thread, and I can guarantee your jaw will drop in awe. Yes it will be a boxer, and yes it will be VERY expensive.

Oh my! America GS takes it. I think I prefer that build over the Singer. That's a real build

curious if a version of this air cooler will be placed in humpty dumpty? that'd be the perfect finish.

Update: the specially camshafts came in wrong for the fourth time from one of the world's leading camshaft suppliers. Given this, they sent a messenger yesterday, Saturday, to pick them up and we expect them back by Tuesday. Assuming the fourth time is the charm, I expect the engine to be run with them by week's end. Nevertheless, work on the 4-valve engine continues.
