Cold & Door Locks
I noticed something strange with my 993. It actually started last year, but I was moving so I ignored the problem. So here it is....
When it gets cold outside, say below 40 degrees, my doors will not lock.
I have Tore's remote lock which works great in the summer. When I replaced the remote locking device last year it did the same thing, so I know it is not the remote locking system. When I lock the car with the key the doors will lock then immediately unlock, but that also works fine in the warmer weather. For example, today when I first got to work it was below 45 and nothing worked, but at lunch I went to get something out of my car it was warm and everything worked fine.
Any ideas what might be the problem?
