Default OEM Aluminum shift ****

Now that I found my 95 993 I've been diagnosed with that sickness that hits some of us P owners. I really want the OEM aluminum shift **** but have hit many dead ends. Its rare and not many available. Wood/aluminum have unicorn status. In my research, turns out there are new aluminum ***** out there, but in blue and I need black. Has anyone come across these? Guess Carrenewal sold them at one time but stopped. Heres a photo of the blue one I found.

YOWSA! Makes me feel better about the $350.00 I spent on one at Hershey about 8 years ago.

Seems like anything with the word "Porsche" is going for crazy $$$ these days. Lots flippers, etc. Look at prices on hollow spokes, hard back sport seats and even 996 steering wheels with leather airbag. Crazy $$

Be patient, I've seen them (slightly used) for a third of that price on fleabay if you wait long enough. I'd rather have a few scuffs already on the aluminum and $500 extra in my pocket for other mods.

About 3 months ago I contacted Porsche to see if they had a black and cashmere aluminum shifter and Ebrake handle , they told me they had only 5 pieces left and that was it !
They had 2 shifters in midnight blue , 2 shifters in marble grey and one e brake handle in Marbke grey , I bought them all because I can dye those black and they are no longer available 😱😁😢
