Default Raid steering wheel install Q

Installing an Raid 340MM 3 spoke.

In looking at the instructions, the horn seems straightforward, but it says to cut the airbag wires and connect the Raid bits (the airbag has a different connector). Do I actually need to cut, or can I just use a splicer for each wire like this?

I'd wager the splice would be fine provided there is enough space between the back side of the airbag and the steering wheel and to fit the connectors.

Those splice connectors work fine. I used them when installing a 3 spoke in my car, and its what I was given with Tore's reverse light kit. Both work as expected. They still put a cut in the wire insulation, but are more removable than other options.
