No, was originally for the OP but that was when I believed the seller was still including 4 tips in the auction.

I have some ugly Fabspeed tips and hope to replace them some day. I found the below on ebay (can't remember the seller) for around $100. They are not direct bolt-on, unfortunately, so they have been sitting around until I decide to spend the money to have them installed.

Question about those little bumper exhaust opening shields I see in some pictures here. Are those shields necessary (or when are they)? Is there a part# that fits narrow body?

Thanks!

cargraphic makes several different options. at the current exchange rate, price seems pretty reasonable.

i'm have a bunch of parts coming from germany and am in the process of ordering a x-pipe+mufflers+tips. let me know if anyone wants some tips from cargraphic. i don't mind having them shipped in my crate of parts and save you guys shipping fees

Hmm. I haven't seen these before, but they look like they might be a good option for someone looking for non-rolled wide oval tips. I'm curious how the slash-cut angle sits in the bumper? Anyone have pics of these installed?

These are really nice ..... but uh ...... EUR595. That's even more absurdly priced than the already absurd Porsche Wide Ovals!

Don't buy, or get your tips powder coated. Powder coating burns off. You have to get them ceramic coated. Same price, but will last for ever. From experience...

I think Fabspeed is about the most affordable route... I have a set im going to mount on my old fabspeed maxiflos (that i had Fister convert to stage 3 thankfully). The original fabspeed tips on them are **** (**** eyed) and will not allow fitment of O.E tips nor the current fabspeed tips... but im going to fabricate the latest fabspeed tips onto my old maxiflos to hopefully make them look good enough to save the mufflers from the fate of the recycling bin...

^^ I'm interested in what you come up with. I've got the same issue with sending max flows to fister here soon. I really want black tips properly mounted. I hate the ones I have now.

do you have the "old" maxiflows?
The newer maxiflos allow use of the newer fabspeed tip.

the old maxiflos do not allow use of any tip.... unless you fabricate.
I have a used set of newer fabspeed tips that i will try to install.

I'm pretty sure I've got the older max flows. I am ok with having the connection fabricated. The left one appears to not have the mounting donut anyway and is welded in place. I'll have to cut it down to send it to Darin at FDM anyway. I REALLY like the black ceramic tips that FDM used to sell and any route I go will be to get as good a fit and as close to those as possible.

Do the fabspeed tips have company name on them, where it is visible to someone standing behind the car? Or was that another brand. Not sure I could live with that.

(On the parallel topic, jlaa, i think you are being kind to Stefan! I think his mod makes the screen usuable, Jims makes it where it is supposed to be. And I like Stefan, I bought my cdr220 from him, i like the way he does business and I'd not hesitate to do business there again)

The tips have fabspeed written across them and stick out about 2 inches past the rear bumper. I'm not a big fan of them at all but right now they're an annoyance. Not a big deal really. Just not my favorite look.

Must be an older set, this is how they look as of 5 minutes ago.
