On my 993 cup modified to Rsr I had gt2 adjustable Bilstein but for a road use its way too hard , so cup suspension would fit better .

Default Euro spec

These pictures remind what US spec cars are missing- side marker/directional signal lights. This was a foolish omission, probably to save 25 -dollars, when Porsche was struggling financially

After the dry ice blast this is how the car looked. If you look closely at the roll cage you can see very small pieces of glue all over it.Now I have to get out the Xylene and start breaking down the glue.

993Cup or 993RSR for road use??

the oe Cup/RSR/GT2 Evo shocks w/ linear valving were way too harsh for road use, I have revalved Cup shocks on mine that are barely ok for that. The redo needs to include digressive valves, like Moton and MCS use. W/ a digressive revalve even the stiffest springs are street useable.

Spray the Xylene then wipe, over and over. You can see that I am making progress.

Worked very well for me!

another glue idea, I used a heat gun and rags.
you still need the proper mask and fan for the fumes.
heat up a section of glue and smear or scoop it up with the rag, this removes all the puddles and thick stuff.
the final clean up with 3m adhesive remover was very quick and easy.

As a former chemist, please, please, please use the proper type of face mask. Certain ones are designed for certain types of chemical exposures. Xylene and Methyl Ethyl Ketone (MEK) are organic solvents, so make sure you are using a mask that protects against such fumes. Take lots of fresh air breaks too. Swap out your face mask (or filter cartridges for the mask) often. Don't get the stuff on your skin. I wouldn't be surprised if both of these products are "mildly" carcinogenic (i.e. causes cancer).

Stay safe while pursuing your hobbies folks!

Actually that can't be mentioned often enough!
Additional to Spider_Man's advice, i placed a really big fan behind me, blowing the fumes out of the other sites door.

One more thought, please keep any pregnant ladies away from the shop area while you're working with those chemicals.

Spyder_Man, I used a mask and gloves all the time and I also had the front and rear glass removed to help with ventilation.
