I think 9M built this car on spec to offer to the public?
To build these things is not cheap. The fenders have to be cut off and the tub is strengthened.
Consider it a full restoration with intergration of Speedster parts in UK dollars.
The end result is an epic car to drive.
Almost half price of a full option Singer but different of course.
There is a buyer for this type of car, however it would appeal to a larger market had the steering wheel been on the right hand side.
9M build one hell of a car however. Amazing quality.

Good to hear from you, G: was hoping you'd enjoy this thread.
Nice timing, too: just today I was (re-)admiring the photography in your magazine feature.
...for those with steering wheels on the same side as yours
Possibly related to tcsracing1 (Tom)'s wheel mention.
Wishing you happy days, Graham
Cheers!

May get new pics
From classicCarMag.net's "Hexagon Modern Classics To Host Total 911 Magazine’s Awards:"
Hexagon Modern Classics is looking forward to a night to remember this Thursday October 22nd when it plays host to Total 911 Magazine’s first-ever 2015 Awards ceremony.
An exceptional array of Porsche exotica will also be on display including some stellar subjects from Hexagon Modern Classics’ own current collection including a 993 RS ‘Clubsport’, 9M 993 Speedster, a 997 GT3 RS, a 997 GTS, a 993 Turbo S and a 928 GTS. Porsche GB will be bringing a 991 GT3 RS, 991 GT3 and a 901 Cabriolet prototype (a special one-off project and one of the oldest Porsche 911s still in existence).
Lee Sibley, editor of Total 911 magazine, said: “As the world’s only publication dedicated to the Porsche 911, the magazine is perfectly placed to offer its readers insight into all aspects of the Porsche industry and, where it is deserved, offer reward for excellence. The Awards evening itself will be a truly fantastic occasion for those in attendance and I would like to thank Hexagon Modern Classics in advance for giving our event such a fantastic home and being such a strong supporter of the magazine. The Hexagon name is synonymous with expert knowledge and first-class service when it comes to Porsche models, particularly 911s – facts that will be evidenced by the mouth-watering stock on display for our guests.”
