Pic from July PCA Northeast Cars and Coffee at Volante Farms
Like the title says, just wanted to post some pictures from last weekend's cars and coffee. We had about twenty-five cars this time around. A pretty good turn out for a mid-summer weekend. And a lot of quality of cars and enthusiasts. My favorite was the speedster. Cheers!
The early birds
Ralph's (RiasMax) beautiful 356 - must betough deciding whether to drive this or his yellow C4S
Dick's beautifully restored car
Interior shot of Dick's car
993 Corner
Speedster arrives in style
He's owned the car for thirty years
Cars continue to pour in
Closing shot of Kevin's 993 - nice shape, carbon fiber/aluminum shifter and brake, carbon fiber door handles and instrument panel, etc.

More pictures
That was a fun event. I spoke to a few interesting characters and made a couple of new friends. Here are a couple more pictures of the black speedster and one of a race prepped 993.

Thanks for posting those additional photos Davis. The speedster was really a beaut, and great to see some close-up of the track car. Was that you in the white cab?

Good to connect with you here on RL as well Davis. No hassles as yet for no front plate. And for $50 I'd rather pay the ticket than spoil the lines on the front of the car.

From my understanding it's a moving violation to have no plate. That's why I eventually got mine. $50 bucks yes but points, no thanks!
BTW, who do you guys use for insurance in MA?

Thanks for the picture of my car, Ken. I've been to 4 different Cars & Coffee / Cruise Night events this year and while they were all fun and worthwhile, my favorite was the Herb Chambers Cars & Coffee in Burlington. Lots of cars and a huge variety of makes, plus free donuts and coffee. There was a Porsche 918 as well as a real Shelby Cobra there. Herb Chambers is having another one this coming weekend:
When - Saturday, August 8th, 7AM-10AM
Where - Herb Chambers Ford of Westborough
310 Turnpike Road, Route 9
Westborough, MA 01581
Let me know if you're going and I'll keep and eye out for your 964.

There seem to be conflicting reports on whether it's a surchargeable moving violation. Some say yes, some say no, some say it varies with insurers. In any event it's only two points, and life is short.
I insure both my cars with Grundy Worldwide. The annual premium this year was just $846 combined. Track insurance is another story....
