Default 993 carrera 2 - 18" wheels

Hi guys, will the following set look good and fit a narrow body carrera?

Front
7.5J - ET50

back
10J - ET65

Anyone here with same sizes? What's the look and the ride like?

thanks!

They will look and fit just fine!

Most here run 8 & 10's with the same or very similar ET's on a NB 993; but 1/2" narrower on the front wheel, will not be an issue.

Thanks nine9six, does this mean that the front wheel will set inside the wheel arch 1/2"? Sorry, I'm completely ignorant in this subject!!

the part number are:

Front

993.362.134.06

Back
993.362.140.04

I think the fronts are from a 996.... Anyone has photos of such a setup?

Thanks a lot for the help

I run very similar ones on my narrow body 993, and I think they are the best looking wheel ever for this car. My fronts are PN 996 363 136 03, 8X18 ET50, rears are PN 996 362 140 03, 10X18 ET65. The MY02s are actually made by BBS, so light and strong, plus they are easy to clean. I can even wipe most of the inside of the barrels clean with a damp microfiber. The little bit I can't reach, I get with a wheel sponge thingy.

I previously had SSR-GT 19 inch wheels on the car, but they are quite a bit heavier and a real PITA to keep clean.

I don't notice any ride difference between the MY02s and the 17s that came on the car.

I also ride with 8" and 10", in both 17" and 18" wheels. 7.5" in front is also fine (preferable for winter in fact), and the 50/65 offsets are perfect. I do find a noticeable difference in the ride in the 17" wheels which allow for a little more rubber between you and the road. They're a bit more comfortable for daily driving, and still handle great at Autocross events. I can post some pics in both 17" and 18" if you like.

Here you go Pc007, happy to oblige. Here are a few pics with the 18" BBS sport classic II's courtesy of Cemoto, and 17" in Fikses. The Fikses weigh 60 pounds less than the BBS wheels and tires FYI. The third photo has a picture of the 18"'s in front, and 17" Fikses in rear.

Granted the Fikse are much lighter, but I really prefer the look of the Sport Classic wheels.

In complete agreement with you Spyderman, and can't wait until winter to run the BBS wheels again. The Fikses are a nice change for track season. And 18" Fikses on arctic silver, now that's another story....
