Absolutely beautiful. I love the contrast of raw outside and comfortable/classy inside. Kind of like two different cars.

Looks great, but I have to agree with Cactus. The dash is missing something. Perhaps covering the lower dash with the same dark brown leather (with or without the weave) would help complete the look.

I look forward to seeing many more pictures of this car!

One more question, what are folks positions on using Pole Position (or equivalent fixed-back race seats) in a street car without a roll cage. I've read elsewhere this is a no, no for safety reasons. Then again, I see you've yanked the steering wheel airbag, so perhaps your ethos is crash safety be damned.

All in all, beautiful car!

As long as you're not using harnesses, there is no difference in crash danger with buckets seats vs factory.

The issue you are referring to is when people use harnesses without a roll bar, thereby trapping the upper body in place in the event of a roof/pillar failure.

So other than the limited rear-seat access, fixed-back sets are just fine in a street car using a standard 3-point seatbelt? Good to know. Alright, I'll stop derailing this thread.

Op, More Pics!

OMG. That is beautiful. I absolutely love how you put the interior together. Very well done.

That is a spectacular interior, ebd! I particularly enjoy how the polished metal trim rings the speakers, window switches, instruments, lines the door threshholds, and graces the accelerator pedal extension.

Regarding the comments about tying together the dash with the brown basketweave ..... That would be incredibly tough to pull off the singer look. Covers the center dash with their basketweave .... AS WELL AS THE CR-220, and then has custom ***** / button extensions grafted onto the radio so that they poke through.

I wonder if a unifying theme w the basketweave can be achieved in this car by making the steering column bellows out of the stuff.

Anyways ... Your C4s shift **** lives on in my car .....

Beautiful!

Being fairly new to the 993 world (but long in the tooth in VW's), it struck me from the beginning that so few people try unique interior refurbs. The 993 interior panels are so basic that it should be relatively easy to recover the panels in different colors, materials and patterns.

Love the use of brown leather in this example. The diamond-stitched trunk cover is fantastic!

Great work!

Wow!!!! Very nice and contemporary look. The use of color is very unique and tasteful at the same time. More photos please....always great to see nice work like this.
