Three Wheelin'
On a related note. http://www.luxmotorcars.com/2000-Por...3/Details.aspx
It's only $22 now, but I could see them raising it. Again. For the 2nd time.
I typically don't get involved in these pricing discussions, but a friend was looking for:
1) A convertible
2) A Porsche
3) 18k max price
4) Modern feel (not looking for an "analog" car at all).
This basically means Boxster or 996 cab. Found this locally advertised for $19.9k. Offered $17 hoping to negotiate up to $18k (car needs rear tires and 60k service among some other minor things). $18k is more than fair.
They responded by raising the price to $22k the next day. Price it low to get some offers, then raise it up... even with a 996! Naturally, this thing still hasn't sold.
Next time, they need to make it $23,993.
