Default BBS E88... low euro... Anyone else tempted?

Still in the search for a new set of wheels, Gert has a smoking deal on BBS.

$3910 shipping included! And they'll work with whatever offset you want. That's a better deal than you usually see on a used set.

BBS 18" Wheel All Aluminum

Now if I could just find a picture of some gold ones on an Aventurine car...

Check the offsets. Gert had a set of these listed cheap a while ago but the offsets were front ET49 and rear ET53. Probably fine on a stock or ROW height car but no way they would work on a car as low as mine.

These are the convex shape design. E88's, not LM's.

Not quite. That's 3,610 euros; just shy of $4k USD.

^^^^^^ Duh... Thanks for the correction guys. Still not a bad deal. (I have no affiliation with Gert, or any other vendor for that matter).

Hey there jstyer --- your door panels have a good home! :-)
Yeah, Gold BBS E88s were my veery close second choice after Tramonts. I allllllmost did those with my Av-green.

Here is a pic that I had collected ... very close to an Av green 993 with gold wheels.

They do look pretty good on the 964...

Glad to hear that the door panels worked for you! I'll definitely be copying your offsets whenever I get some shoes for my car. Those Tramonts sit SO nice on your car. Absolutely perfect amount of poke.

... Gert's wheels and deals are great, almost went with a set myself. Also, nearly went with 405's wheels/tires which he is still selling btw. Here is the link.. They are almost identical to the E88s.

Just to keep this thread going for jsyter, I've managed to fit my wheels with pretty decent offsets front and back. I'm not 100% on my alignment specs off the top of my head but know that the camber setting are on the aggressive side of things not exactly close to porsche stock alignment numbers, regardless it drives just awesome imo. My front wheels are 18x8.5"+43 and the rears are 18x10"+55. Of course all of this is dependent on the suspension mods I've done to my personal car, see signature below..And furthermore if you go with E88's I would do gold on green

This is ridiculous. Used sets are on sale on ebay and other sites for more than the original price. Not to mention these are the Aluminum centers, not the weaker and heavier magnesium ones.

Is that a reputable seller? Never heard of them, I'd like to not get ripped off.
