Apparently Diablo region PCA has the only tour for Saturday already booked. I'm a Loma Preita PCA member so I have a call in to Diablo to see if we can join. Their tour is at 10am so timing is perfect.

Okay - I reached out to Alice's to give them a heads-up that there'll likely be something like 20 of us showing up more-or-less when they open at 8:00 on the 25th. I'll let y'all know what I hear back. Opo, you're a popular guy!

I'd like to propose a video op and as I'll be coming up from Santa Cruz I'll get to the shoot point early and wait for the convoy and then get video of everyone cruising by.
The shoot point I'd like to propose is at 13342 on state road 35 (Skyline Blvd.) It's down the ridge a bit from the Half Moon Bay CA-92 turn off from I-280. I know 280 is the most beautiful freeway in the world, but for me, the section of 35 from 92 down to Alices is simply freakin amazing.
Here's the view of where I'd shoot video from:
..and as you're coming down 35 and you enter the first tree lined section you'd see this left hand sweeper coming on the straight:
...in the soft morning light, with maybe a little fog drifting through I think it'd be a pretty cool sight.

I like it; I'm going to be coming that way to Alice's anyway. And I'm with you that that particular section of 35 is fantastic!
Oh, and good news. I heard back from the GM of Alice's and we're all set with the back room reserved for us from 8:00 to 10:00.
Sounds like my father will be joining us, but he'd rather keep it simple and come along in my 993. Sorry Rudy, looks like you're the only confirmed 964 in the crowd at this point.
IainM: For the video shoot are you thinking, before or after breakfast? After makes more sense to me since we'll be all grouped up.
Lastly, I am a Diablo PCA member. They have a couple Canepa tours lined up, and I believe they're all booked up. Unless Canepa feels like guiding two tours that day (or one HUGE tour), there likely wont be space for us all. Maybe if we all show up with our best sad puppy dog faces, they'll let us join...
