Cool. If you're game for the trip to Alice's / Canepa, it doesn't matter where you're staying. Early on a weekend morning, it's easy to get out of SF, and an approximately 45 minute drive. Weird - I can't get the second route to copy correctly - but it's 35 south to 9 to 236 to Empire Grade, to Scott's Valley and Canepa. A route to make you glad to be alive and in a Porsche.
Means the better part of a full day. But a damned good day.

Since Rudy has promoted you to team leader, and breakfast may be on the table, the back room at Alice's might want to be reserved for that date…..

The 25th is a combination car show and full open house - so not just the museum but the shop floor, as well as a show in the parking lot. Doubt that they're doing tours because of it, but should be a great day to visit!
