FYI, there is a $12.00 rebate on 5 quart purchases of Mobil 1 through the end of May. Limit 2 rebates.

WalMarts in my area has the 5 qt jugs of 15W50 for ~$27. in my area.

I called the Mobil 1 Rebate Center and they confirmed that they are honoring the rebates from WalMart purchases even though they are not on the participating retailer list.

Thanks for the heads up...M1 honored the Walmart receipts last year also. Now, just gotta find and print out the rebate form...should be easy.

Just bought 12 qts of M-1 V twin 20W-50 at AutoZone $11.99/qt. Special $2 off each qt at purchase. Plus a $12 mail in rebate. ~$10.50/qt.

pepboys.com still has a 30% off sale going on for $100+ orders and free shipping. I bought 18 qts of mobil V twin for $125 a few weeks ago. Someone should see if they can get the rebate on top of the coupon savings.

Our Wallys stopped carrying M1 15W 50. A couple of years ago you could get at least the 1 qt bottle before the jugs came back after 6 months but this time both jugs and bottles disappeared. Hope it comes back because my stock will run out soon.

With GF 6 soon to be upon us they are likely making room for popular grades based on current and upcoming car parc. 15W50 is a dog in terms of volume sales and is likely gone for good at most Wallys.
