993 Wheels - 18" offset's?
I am looking to add another set of wheels to/for my '98 993 Cab.
i have attached the size for front and back in the photo's - which i believe read:
(18x8 - 50mm) and (18x10 - 45mm)
my question is simple: WILL THESE FIT with no rubbing or problems?
stock ride height on vehicle.
thank you for the help !!

Fronts yes, rears are widebody offset and wont fit a NB.

First off, your wheels say 18x8 et45 and 18x10 et50. If this is the case, Yes the fronts AND rears will fit.
I run 18x8.5 et41 w/ 225/40-18 and 2 degrees neg camber with LOW suspension and my fronts fit... your wheels would have 10mm additional clearance at the lip and about 2mm additional inner clearance.
I also run 18x11 et60 in rear w/ 285/30-18 with 2.4 degrees neg camber on my NB and that fits and YOUR setup will be 3mm further in at the lip with about 22mm additional inner clearance.
So... YES, YOUR WHEELS WILL FIT YOUR NB 993.

So the front will fit without a doubt. I say the rears will also fit. I ran 18x10 ET 58 on a lowered NB before. It had plenty of room for 8mm more of clearance. I've seen Rich's car in person and the fitment is beautiful!

With a stock ride height the rears just might fit... But I'd be weary. Degree of negative camber, and tire size also have an effect here, considering the rear wheels are pushed 15mm outward more than stock.
These are perfect 964 offsets; 993 - not so much.

Someone needs to warn potential users when they are recommending size and o/s that are far from oe fitments
the further from stock the more issues will have to be dealt w/ and the more restrictions on ride height tire selection and setup will be found
Before buying expensive non standard wheels It's advisable to do your HW thoroughly

Here is a document that near the end lists all the OE offsets:
