Not mine.

*Warning* - this footage contains a brown trouser moment.

Impressive, but that GT3 deserves a better driver

Man, the old girl can still get around the track in a very fashionable manor. Wish I had a pair to drive mine like that

He certainly knows what he is doing.

And the Karussel really *is* that bumpy

"A" brown trouser moment? I guess it depends on your definition of BTM, I see several in the first two minutes alone!

No poo ( perhaps poor wording choice) - even on the straights it gets a bit squirrely: this footage could be grafted into a 'Depends' commercial.

Honestly I am surprised at how squirrelly the car behaves. The front end "seems" very light. Would have thought the AWD would have made more of a difference.

Fun to watch but I feel for the other driver who is out just having a good time.

I wonder if he can afford to pay for two written off cars?

What makes you think the 993 driver isn't out just having a good time as well? After all, it is a race track, isn't it?

He is, but I think you missed the point.

There are others out there who want to drive the Ring that do not want their cars rolled up into a ball of steel. It may be a race track, but it is not a race. Maybe have different sessions for different driving styles.

Are you proposing to put a speed limit on the Ring? Why should a guy who wants and can push his car be limited by those who want to go for a sunday drive on a race track?

Look at the ring taxi drivers, they push those M5s and get sideways...and you are not wearing helmet or 5point harness. Being on the track is risky business, but so is life.

And in case you didn't know, they also can't break a certain lap time for insurance reasons.

As long as that guy has deep pockets to pay for damages for the guy he runs into, fine. I and many others would worry. Racing is one thing. That is not a race. There are some really interesting pics of some major pile-ups where one or two idiots really going at it caused it all. If they think they are so fast, enter a race series.

Back on topic. Those are always fun to watch.

I didn't know that.

It probably would be more fun and safer if it was DE style (which they do), but that would take away from the experience as well.

I was amazed that how the Ring operates on open days the way it does. This would never work in US and it makes me upset a bit.
