Default Shifter ****, what fits?

I don't like the stock shifter ****. Have any of you found a non oem shifter **** you like?

Rennline Aluminum Shift ****; very minimalistic and has a nice hand feel.

My 993 came with one of these MY'02 996 shifter ***** modified with a 993 boot. I love the weight and grip of it. Good luck tracking one down though. Gert used to sell them, maybe if you asked him nicely...

^ I bought the same one and I love it! Purchased from Gert as well, first change / update I made to my 95 as the original was all worn and I hated the feel of it.

I had the RS **** and didn't like it. It was too light weight and plasticy.

I switched to the OEM ball shaped **** and matching handbrake handle from a C2S, I like it much more.

997 GT3 fits with some leather work to adapt the 993 boot.

I've seen a **** from Europe (I think) on eBay. Saw one in person, and it's pretty nice. The **** can be illuminated in different LED colors, based on what you order.

^ Did you mean this shift xxxx?

If so, eBay "Porsche 993 shift ****" and look for Germany vendors.

Bought one, two different styles; have yet to install, but quality item.

That's the one I have except I ordered it in all black. It's really a quality item. I've even had to deal with the company and despite the language barrier (Germany) everything went well and they were very helpful. The shift pattern lights up (if you choose to attach the wires). I wanted to change from white to red.

I have the same one from Germany as above. Very well made and good quality. If you don't like the lights you don't have to use them. Here's mine:

Correct, the one pictured is a 996 style shifter, much better feel than the RS **** in my opinion.

This is an RS ****
