Default Suction cup /phone mount suggestions

Please post a picture or a link to the phonemount/ suction cup to windshield setup if you use one. Plus any review.

With the theme touched upon in some of todays threads, I'm considering buying a phone mount that suctions to the windshield. I'd like to try running gps while I'm driving to see if I like it. Seems it could make it a little safer if a turn is decreasing radius if you could see that on the way in. Not 100% sold though. It might be distracting and clutter the windshield but I'd like to try one.

The other thing I'm looking for is usb adapter that fits in our non standard size cigarette lighter. If you have bought one lately that works, I'd appreciate a link to it.

thanks in advance...

Get a RAM mount and be done with it! It has been proven on the Nürburgring... =)

Try the iBolt Minipro for just $19.95. Small, yet capable of handling an iPhone 6+.

"RAM" mount for sure. Go to Amazon and order it. You'll never buy another brand after that.

I use a RAM mount (suction cup, short arm & iphone cradle) and attach it to the clock glass. Perfect fit.

Thanks guys, for all your suggestions.

Brian, I have seen that. I had forgotten about it. It was a great idea. Maybe too low for video but for nav, music or hands-free phone use it is in the perfect spot. He should put them into production - I'd buy one. Maybe we can twist his arm at the Dallas GTG.

Any way someone can clue me in to Scott's solution?

I'll respectfully decline as last time I spoke with him he was thinking about patenting and turning into a business. He's a member here though and will let him chime in if he wants.
