How so? Fine for even the lowly, filthy BMW in the muddy lot with the trailers. Though I got there just after 8.

~260 pics from me to be posted somewhere. Though probably everything has been posted already. I did do a walkaround like I did for Werks Reunion last year. But the camera glitched. I saw another guy walking around with a Go Pro, and someone posted (I think) over on Facebook he put something up on YouTube--so maybe that was one and the same.

Other than the celebrity sightings--Patrick himself of course, Tanner Foust in the 912E his dad bought new, and the obviousness of Magnus--I may have met and had about a 30 minute conversation with the neatest guy there. Details to follow........

Got them uploaded: http://tinyurl.com/jvmtkef

Caveat is that I took these on the fly, first thing. Before we were overwhelmed.

Happy to see RLer 993C4RS (Chad) out & about.

Have wondered what he's up to, but too scared to ask after he threatened to kill me

An accomplished enthusiast with a striking 993. LUV to see it & his story published / filmed

Thanks for posting the pictures Ken. It was a great event, glad I made it even though I didn't take my car. What a diverse selection of great cars, can't wait till the Rennsport V Reunion.

Two thoughts.

1. If you could take three home, which ones? (Usual caveat that it has to fit in your budget and lifestyle. In other words, don't get all dreamy about a 935 if you've never turned a wheel on track.)

2. Which car(s) didn't do it for you?

For me: 1. Amazon Green 964RSR + Mexico Blue '74 Carrera + parking lot 997 GT2 RS. Blech on the "stanced" 964s.

Oh man that takes the fun out of it! Not sure I could choose - requires more thought, especially given those restrictions. I wish I could have driven one of my own cars home! I drove my grocery getter because I was concerned about driving up in the weather. I will say I loved the 904 - beautiful design. Also, I was there when the Kremer 935 drove in. That was a great experience hearing that thing roar like a wild animal.

Haha!
Thanks Jager, I've been trying' to get out and drive that thing more often! Like most every other car out there, I have a list of things to do to mine, but am always short on time.. soon hopefully, i can complete a few more tasks haha..
..and SVD is so incredibly busy but that's a good thing!

Hmmm..... that's tough. I'd take these three... I'm not even sure what the first one is, but I like it. Is it a 964turbo s? Don't recognize the wing.

Lots of traction on my query, but looks like we're the same on #1 and #2. That third one, the "world traveler" in an '86 backdate the guy bought like that. Story was the car was done 15, maybe 20, years ago. Long before backdate mania.

Anyway, the Amazon Green (only one in the world, from their extremely limited production) is one of the street versions of a widebody (non-turbo) 964.
