I came up with the idea, but if someone wants to organize it please feel free. Maybe the forum sponsor TruSpeed can host something? Never been. Probably have some cool Pcars to look at. Does Costa Mesa have any good driving roads though? I'm in Northern Los Angeles near Tony Air C2S (cleanest C2S in the nation by the way). We have a hand full of good driving roads up here.

Sorry to crash the party, but what about 964s? Sounds like loads of fun.

Depending on weather; bottom of Angeles Crest NLT 7:00 am, up Hwy 2, to Newcombs Ranch for breakfast, then up the rest of the way 138 to Lake Arrowhead, and back?

Just tossing out ideas...

I did Newcomb this morning. Super Bowl Sunday tradition. We had a 993 Turbo S in the pack. You can do it but the CHP is out in force so you have to be careful.

A better drive would be Pomona to Big Bear to Cherry Valley. Or Pomona to Big Bear to 29 Palms to Joshua Tree to Palm Springs. Long day but rewarding. Or Mulholland Drive. You can get a picture of you driving your car on this drive.

All 3 were on the 2013 PCA Escape drive menu. Very very rewarding. They made the PCA Monterey Parade drives look lame.

I have sets of route instructions.

Think about it.

For sure 964's I think we need to try and keep this gathering mid 90's as possible. Anyone can see a 996 997 991 at a dealer lot anytime they want. (Great cars I've owned a few. Not knocking them at all). You don't see 993's and 964's everyday.

I vote for a morning Santa Monica Mountain \ Mullholand drive. Then meet up for lunch to check out the cars.

Just as long as it's not so tight, that it gets boring. One 20 mph turn after another is a big YAWN to me. Hope others feel the same way too.
