Other than the slight imperfection where screws are mounted, I love my rotated tach face. I think it's just a tad thicker than the standard dials and the face got distorted upon tightening.Name: image.jpg

Not to give you a hard time, but didn't you have your tach out when you were gonna do the new tach face? You can see the 2 tiny screws that hold the face in place. Any DIY that I have found, shows it's sorta tedious, but doable if you're patient. I dented my bezel, so ended up sending mine out to Palo Alto Speedo. Depending on if it's not torn, you may be able to still use the face from P-Dials. Call Palo Alto or N.Hollywood Speedo

Actually, I had tach out for a sticking needle at a local gauge repair shop and they were the ones saying they couldn't get it to work as most faces they replace typically have adhesive.

They're mistaken, I don't think any of the gauge faces (are installed with adhesive) in side the gauge itself. Maybe an overlay to an original face, but not as a replacement. If they're the once who screwed up the face, they should be getting you a new one.

I had a set made by porschedials.com and was not satisfied with the quality !
The VDO scripts at the bottom of the oil and speedo were not alligned to the inner rings. And the transparrancy of the colloured pictograms was insufficient in daylight. I complained but he was not willing to rectify.

In the end I bought a second set in silver with rotated tacho from Gemballa. This time to complete satisfaction. The one thing with OBC is you have to add background light to have the complete dial lighted when you go for a twisted tacho dial.
