On Velocity channel, Chasing Classic Cars, I saw a red S 959 sell for 1M...Wasn't to long ago one could be had for $500K...If you could find one, that is.

And the comforts were $250-$300. Of course I couldn't afford this so I opted for a 993 TT S

Funny/interesting story:
I took delivery of my white '97 C2S about 2 months ago. Met the truck driver in a grocery store parking lot near the interstate. The truck driver had to unload this to get my car off of his truck:

Described as a $1.2 million prototype on its way from FL to the west coast. My wife didn't understand why I was snapping pictures and not more excited about my new car (background of last pic)....

Can anyone tell me the colour of the rims on the 959 and the finish(Matte or semi gloss?).

Love the look and wanna refinish some twists in the exact colour.

I think if I was running a place that was trying to sell 1.4 million dollar vehicles I would have not had a half-assed patch job done with the roofing shingles.

If anyone wants me to do a Rennfax for them just call and make an appointment for me to view and drive the car. I'll be there in an hour, :-)

Regards,

.
