great pics and video juha.
snowing pretty heavy, already 2 inches at my house.
should be skiing a measured 5-7 inches and 8-12 in the trees tomorrow for anyone that is on the fence.
as juha posted, snowbird lower parking lot at 8.45am to meet up.

I grew up in Utah (Ogden) and while snowbird it nice we locals say it if for "Tourists" along with Park City. The places to ski are ALTA (for the best powder) but let's not forget Snow Basin (where the Olympics Downhill was held). Less crowded, great runs. It is about 30 minutes north of Park City. I would not stay up in Alta/Snowbird. Not much going on at night and expensive. Also, don't get locked into skiing at one resort. I would ski Snowbird...then Alta....then Snowbasin and then for a relaxing day and evening I would ski up at Park City.

It's good you brought snow with you. The best multi-day stretch we've had all year.

It's that time of the year again. Flights and hotels booked. Alta, here we come!

Arrive on Sunday 21st and we'll be skiing for 6,5 days. Been getting updates from Todd and Skylar and hear it's a very good year.

Man wish I was on your level. 993 and skiing both that is.

My trip out west had to be canceled this years. Going to head to Snowshoe, WV this weekend to try and appease me for this year.

it has been a great year so far for the Wasatch mountains. Better than the last 3 or 4 for sure. I have had several great powder days so far. Not as many as I would like, but some great days. Enjoy!

Plenty of snow here at Steamboat this week. Spring conditions the past few days, and a fresh 6" to 8" coming tonight.

We were at Snowbird all last week. No new snow but had sunshine every day. Had a great time.

Jim,

The weather and conditions look nice in Steamboat!

Not quite the same in VT.....a little thin and chilly this year at Smugglers Notch. Even though some of my girls favorite glades like Shakedown are closed, everyone is having fun. Enjoy the rest of school vacation week.

Hi Rob,

Smuggs has some of the most challenging terrain in the East, even with good conditions. Ski the East, and you can ski anywhere!

Have fun, and careful not to cross those tips.

Jim
