Default RS uprights: Before/After

Finally found a torque wrench and got her back on the ground. Obvious difference on symmetry alone. Cant wait to get it done and "feel" the improvement. :-)

I don't know. The way the tie rod mounts to the upright is pretty different too.

camera angle may ghave changed too, but look at the differences
stock arm is mounted on top of the upright and the bent arm further raises the outer end

also note the proximity of the arm end to the wheel in both pics

I'm at about 101mm in the front so I can't be exact with my phone, but if you compare bottom of frame/pic with bottom of garage door, it's pretty close. Even if I don't feel a substantial difference (which I doubt) the placebo effect will kick in :-)

very cool shots, thanks for the "what to look for" points also Bill. Whatever bump steer you had because of ride height...should be gone now. I would definately love to go this route someday. IIRC, wasn't stupid money either.

Despite the tough crowd, I can see the difference...

Did the new uprights install require a fresh alignment and corner balance? How are the handling manners?

FWIW, I was actually serious about there being a big difference.

It makes me wonder why these weren't standard on our cars in the first place. Would trying to use them with the standard US ride-height cause a bump-steer problem as well?
