Todd--
Seriously: your son will ALWAYS remember you did that for him--and it will be a great memory. Way to go...when we apply some of that "discretionary effort" (in anything, really--work, relationships, etc.)--it tends to pay really nice dividends.

Here's my mini-display at desk...and--yes--that's a Chevy Vega on the far right (family had one)...

My 13 year old son just asked me for a display case for his 1/18 scales. That is next on my list. I know what you mean, most things in the market place are less then desirable. I will let you know if I come up with anything clever.

Luckily for me it is more fun then not. I do love sharing my passion for cars with both my boys. It is something I hope we continue to share the rest of our lives
