SOLD PENDING PAYMENT: Dark Gunmetal Advan TCIII Wheels & tires - 9x18 & 11x18
Price - $2400 plus actual shipping. SOLD
A friend of mine recently purchased member 911ist’s awesome 993, which came with these wheels. He has decided to install a set of BBS RS GT’s, so asked if I would list the Advans for sale here.
I personally thought they looked great on the car – very aggressive & the concave spokes work well with the 993’s hips. They are a rich gunmetal color with machined centers and anodized blue valve stems & caps. If you wanted to use Porsche crest center caps, I believe you would need to silicone them in place – the cap shown in the pictures below is for reference only to show how they look.
These wheels are in near new condition – aside from one ¼” scrape on one front wheel that has been touched up and a touched up scratch on one rear inner barrel, they are pretty flawless.
The specs are:
Front – 9x18 ET46 ~18lb
Rear – 11x18 ET60 ~21lb
Tires are Continental Extreme Contact 235/40/18 front & 285/35/18 rear. They have late 2009 date codes, though are in great condition with very little tread wear. The rubber is soft & completely crack free – I would not hesitate to run them.
This is an aggressive set up for a 993 but it works – may work even better with 30 section rear tires as 911ist mentioned in the thread below that he experienced minor rubbing on freeway bumps. I have driven the car and did not notice any rubbing during the 30 minute drive on country roads. This 993 is also very low, so a car with less aggressive ride height will likely have no issue at all.

I believe that the specs will allow for a wide range of fitments – including 996/997 models, GT3’s (these would make great track wheels), wide body 993’s with spacers for the rear (I have a set that could be included for a good price). Please confirm fitment for your application.

I always loved 911ist's car. It will basically look like my car but in grey with the new BBS wheels.
