The factory suspension settings have a +/- 10mm (.787”) tolerance band. This means that factory setup cars can vary as much as .787” in ride height. This also means that variation can be achieved with the factory components.
10mm is less than 1/2 inch. (Your 19mm and 3/4" wrenches are basically interchangeable.)

it's +/- 10mm which means a total tolerance band of 20mm. 10mm up and 10mm down from nominal position.
10/25.4=.394
20/25.4=.787

Maybe I've only seen outliers, but starting with the 964s I've pretty much just seen cars delivered in the middle.

Oh I believe you, nominal is the target and with German precision I’m sure most are spot on at nominal. I’m just providing what the manual states.
A lot of you guys on here have enormous amounts of experience at setting up and building Porsches for the street and track. I do not. Although I am an engineer (aerospace not automotive) and I understand the theoretical math and physics behind setting up suspension, I lack the experience and knowledge of doing it. I barely have time to drive and maintain my car these days.

I would like to add that my 97 C4S RoW came with red suspension
cannot remember if Monroe or Boge
No height adjustments though.

Quick Reply: My 97 C4S DOES NOT handle like a cup car because its heavy and has stock suspension.
