Like many of the 993 owners, I have a check strap weld issue and need to do a proper repair. This seems like a common problem with our cars and thought I'd check with the group to see if there are any referrals for a competent that is familiar with this specific repair.

I've seen some great success stories and some nightmares… trying to avoid any shops that are not familiar with this repair.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks Martin... I've heard great things about Deshler's. I'll have to give them a visit to see if they can repair this for me before it get's worse. Hopefully they've done this before with good success.... I apprecitae the help!
