Damn…one I could have
answered….it will take 7.4 Qts of fluid= 15.4 Lbs. I use the fluid as ballast.

I suppose if you fished around there could be a flux capacitor in there

Thanks both of you. I wondered, and never found an answer. Searching, "white cap gas filler 993" in the forums was no help!

lol ^ but since you brought it up, to my knowledge replacing this cap is the only diy on the car that you can do safely with the part in one hand and your beer in the other

Know what's funny about washer fluid, at least in late model BMWs? Seemingly, lack of ammonia in non-OE fluid, leading to clogging of the reservoir and eventual failure of the pump. At least that's what happened on Karen's '06 325i. (Was clued in by my friend who owns/operates one of the best BMW facilities in the area.)
