always wondered why they decided to make the washer fluid so accessible on the 964/993 but didn't do the same for the oil filler/dipstick. I check and top off my oil, and care about its level in general way more than my washer fluid...

Default Weight of water in Windshield Washer

On page 152 of the Owners Manual it states, Capacities, Windshield washer, approx. 7.4 US quarts/7 liters.

1 liter of water = 1 kilogram, there are 7 liters in the jug when full. Recall, the windshield washer fluid is also used to wash the headlights.

1 kilogram = 2.20462262 pounds

7 X 2.20462262 = 15.40 Lbs.

If you are asking is 15.40 Lbs true, it seems that it is. I have mine topped off as part of my ballast.

I was told you can use it as a mouth piece if you want to play your Porsche in an Oktoberfest band. By adding incremental amounts of washer fluid through the mouthpiece you can tune the instrument.

The 993 came with an extendable hose on the oil filler tube under the cap. It tended to disintegrate so most all of them have been pitched. To be clear if you own any 911 you will become involved with oil on many levels. Kind 'a like bitching about electrical systems on Lucas equipped vintage British cars, you will be involved. I guess it is like raising a child from an infant. With the hassle one becomes attached to the thing.
