Love that Fabcar mid-engine 993. Drool every time I see it.

I'd request people, label them "factory" or "tribute" to the extent the know the answers so that those of use with less trained eyes can learn to spot the differences.

What front splitter is that on the fabcar 993? I really dig it. Think it'd look great on a road car.

In post #5 of this thread with the 993 & 997 together..

You say....

"nice pics so far!

a couple more of the 993 RS clubsport and gt3rs comparison.."

For the purpose of clarity, I know that car (great car) and the owner here in the UK.
As the owner of a factory clubsport myself, I can tell you the riviera car in the photo is a very nice example of an M002 RS and definitely not a Clubsport variant.

Just for the purpose of clarification, it is an easy mistake to make!

Front splitter looks very simple.

Oh well...That didn't last long.

Why not run a "not an RS thread" alongside this one?

That way people could post their cars with various states of clone, tribute, modification etc...... On the RS thread people could use it as reference for those that don't know much about the real cars to appreciate and learn a bit more about them...just a thought?

Our local Buckler/King built "Togos" car was a current day impostor--'70 or '71 chassis if I recall. Buckler won the Sears race a few years earlier with it, but I THINK in '95 everyone factory was still in a 964 RSR.

I suppose my bastard tribute should follow behind Bill's spectacular example...

RSR Style suspension, RS/GT2 Aero, RSR+ Engine , Standard transmission (for now)

Bill,

IMHO, I think you need to put some Gulf-style orange vinyl arrows or center stripe and front bumper cover on that bad boy along the lines of these examples:

To the OP, apologies for the partial non-993 content.

Clubsport 1 the OP requested RS or RS related pics and materials if
any of us wanted strictly factory stock photos of RS cars we could just
post as much factory supplied media material we can find..
You of course are blessed to be able to drive the real deal on your
streets we cannot or at least aren't supposed to without a few rare
exemptions for display ...therefore we have to custom build our own
examples of the marque to get just a bit of the raw feeling you experience ...
So why not bear with us unfortunates who have to swap and trade and build these cars to the best of our ability to even remotely
resmble what you obviously so easily simply drafted a check for?
When I get a chance I'll post the newly arrived RS CS clone in my
garage with its GT2 clone stablemate,Bert
