Turbo S ducts

These look great, I've got a pair I need to paint and install. For those whom have installed these, how did you wire the LED marker light? They come with spade connectors which obviously don't jive with the connector on the factory bumper harness. Did you cut the OEM connector off or has anyone found a mating connector?

Yup, simple to wire up and tape over, no cutting or splicing, so easily put back to stock in seconds.

[QUOTE=clinchy993;11726456]I used a dremmel and enlarged the hole to use original P-car fitting
Wow - very creative. I note that you used the square fog light harness instead of the round harness for the running lights. The harness that the brake duct lights come with has leads that hook directly into the round harness for the running lights (i.e., the harness on the outer side of each OEM light unit). Do your running lights turn off when you put on the headlights?

Voila, thanks to the members on this thread for contributing LED light bulb ideas, I've also upgraded the old school incandescent bulbs in the turbo S ducts.
Went with a decidedly inexpensive solution by purchasing some http://www.ebay.com/itm/360766372908?_trksid=p2060778.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT off of eBay for a whopping $1.02 investment.
Today, the little package showed up. After work, my 11 y.o. son and I took off the ducts and within 15 minutes the mini project was completed. Again, thanks to all for the idea to upgrade the bulbs. I had wanted to do this a LONG time ago.
Pics of course to show before and after.
Before, low wattage inferior filament bulb
After, modern illumination

I'm really wanting to do this to my 97 c4s. Anyone know where I can order a set here in the states? I clicked the ebay UK link and it's gone. Thanks. Your cars look amazing.

this may have been covered before... i have seen turbo ducts with the legitimate fog light (to my knowledge are factory) and the turbo S ducts that have the marker light that most of us seem to have. can someone clarify these two different parts?

Turbo S ducts as per this thread have side lights in them, not fogs. Same for aftermarket or Genuine Porsche, the lamps are made by Hella

The ones on the 95 turbo I'm referring to don't look like aftermarket like the ones above ^
I thought they were OEM but I could be wrong
They just look like the turbo s ones but w a glass projector. Not a retrofit
