Hello all,
I had a very nice conversation with a knowledgeable, long term Porsche enthusiast last night who educated me on the real value of my car in a thoughtful way. The result, first 65K owns it and I don't think you'll be disappointed.
Chris
Kudos for posting an excellent for sale ad with pics of the car damaged and repaired for all to see. At $65k I think you're being realistic given the market today. Best of luck with the sale!
GLWS, but that price is just crazy, especially with the damage and tippy.
It has all the paper work and was well-cared for, despite the unfortunate deer incident. Low mileage, almost "impeccable", rare color - well worth the price in my estimation. If it wasn't a tip I'd be heading to ski country this weekend! GLWS in earnest Doc, someone will be very happy with her.
The car is going to a long term Porsche enthusiast on the West coast who is a total pleasure to deal with. Thank you all for your kind help and thoughtful comments!
Chris
Congratulations on the sale as well to the new west coast owner!! Thanks to great body shops that can tint and blend paints to match to near perfection!!
A sweet ending to a dramatic saga. Hope the new owner will show up here and contribute a "just purchased" thread so we can get his new ownership impressions.
