Smile Some prefer...

the 993 Turbo rear bar, 22mm, 1mm thicker than a standard Mo30 RoW bar, and has enough meat to drill an additional hole to provide for two (2) way adjustment of the rear drop links. I had this on a former M030 RoW set up...worked great. This was a handling "trick" I learned from the late Pete Wetzel from ANDIAL, Santa Ana.

I just recently bought F/R M030's. The front wasn't difficult to source, ECS Tuning had it. I had to search high and low for a rear. I found one at Porsche of Plano. Suncoast, Einmalig, Pelican didn't have it.

I considered the row turbo bar but it is significantly more expensive and I probably don't need the added thickness.

I will try Plano if it doesn't work out with AW21, thanks!

Default Turbo bar expensive?

They were dirt cheap....in 2004 when I bought mine. The M030 shocked/struts (Off a 993 Turbo), the M030 RoW springs....used the Turbo on the front, bought M030 RoW 993 NA springs for the rear as well as the Mo30 front bar and the M030 Turbo (22mm) rear bar was a great set up...Used it mostly for the track, but it worked well on the street too...a little stiff, but acceptable to me.

Had the rear bar drilled (At ANDIAL) for an addition drop link contact point, don't recall using it to stiffen up the rear. The car would probably rotate pretty easily with an extra stiff 22mm rear bar.

M030 rear bar is 20mm. RoW Turbo rear bar is 21mm.

Just a few years ago the RoW Turbo rear bar was around $240 at Sunset.

Default I stand corrected...

The Turbo RoW (Maybe US too for all I know) is indeed a 20mm bar, and extra 1mm thicker than the M030 20mm rear bar. I just threw in 22mm to see if anyone was reading my post NOT: it was a brain fart on my part...tough to remember what I was doing 10 days ago, much less, 10 years ago.

Thanks for the correction.

The ROW Turbo rear bar is about twice the price of the M030 rear bar now.
