RUF Replicas on 993 NarrowBody??
#18
I've gone back and forth between RUF replicas from Rottec or turbo twists. I think I'm going to go with the RUF replicas, my question is, if I go with the 19x8.5 et52 for the front and the 19x11 et67 for the rear, what size tires can I fit? Will I need spacers for the rear if I go with 315/25/19 Michelins?? The car will be dropped about an inch and I've never seen a narrow body 993 with anything bigger than a 285 rear tire. Any and all help would be appreciated.

Here is a comparison of my wheels 8.5ET54//235/40x18 & 10ET65//275/35x18 on a low car w/ the Ruff's you propose to use 8.5ET52//245/35x19 & 11ET67//315/25x19
note that mine is very tight I could use 245/35 & 285/30(barely) also because though wider they are also shorter.
The front is going to be tight but ought to work, a shorter 235/35 would be a tad easier to fit
the rear is a disaster, note that the proposed wheels intrude 14.70mm more on the inner side and protrude 10.70mm more on the outer side, the tires more so @22mm more inner and 18mm more outer.
The pinch points are both inner and outer, there is only a few mm of clearance on either side of a 275. A 285 or even 295 can be used but clearance gets even less

Mine are 8.5" x 18 and 10" x 18 F 55 R 63
I weight them with Michelin 295 30 18 Rears at 51 lbs. shockingly the same weight as the 2002 Turbo Wheels however they are 11" x 18 didn't weight fronts.
OEM Turbo Wheels are F 50 R 66 x 18 and same tires Mic Pil Sports
The fronts fit fine but would rears are about 3/4" too wide so the 4 are for sale.
I think the rears would fine on a widebody and obviously fit with included spacers on a Turbo.
And my car rides better than stock wheels and tires before and after i lowered it.
