My understanding is that the part number 993.111.045.12 indicates it beeing a gillett flanged muffler.
If the part number ends in .07 (993.111.045.07) then its a bischoff flanged muffler.

..and what a bargain it would be for 230$ for one new oe motorsound muffler!

@AOW162435 why was he banned? Offering too low prices on exotic 993 parts?

I guess 2022 is the year for old threads revivals

I think .07, .12 or .15 = Motor Sound muffler (sound pkg M159), I have .12 with gillett flanged and I believe .07 is for bischoff, but two are interchangeable with a donut.
I actually found a set of Motorsound mufflers couple of years ago from either DC auto or one of the used Porsche parts site for around the same price as non-motorsound. Took me a while to find them but I think they pop-up from time to time and just have to be on the lookout! GLWS!
