I agree. The poor etiquette displayed in other people's for sale threads is appalling around here. It's just common courtesy to not **** on another person's ad. If you don't think it is worth it, move along and respect their attempt to sell the car.

GLWS, Falcondrivr.

Thanks for the defence guys, but it really doesn't matter. The market for these cars is going up fast. I've been tracking it for a few months now on a spreadsheet. In June, the average price of all 993 6-speed non-turbo coupes on the market was $60552. Today it's $64030. That's ~ 6% increase in 2 months. That would interpolate out to a 30% increase this year. However, these are the summer months so the increase is a little amplified I think. We've seen about a 20-25% increase since last summer, so that's what I think will continue. Now with the miles on my car, it will lag the overall market by some delta. Half? I don't know... The conclusion is that it will sell for what I need to get out of it in the next 90-180 days.

This is why the Pelican model should be adopted within the RL car classified section. However when the OP decided to repost in the technical forum, he opened the thread up to a discussion.

Great Car, road in it earlier this year, an all sorted go fast 993, even with miles, a well cared for car.

Seller is a long time rennlist contributor and a stand up guy, myself being in the midwest and having done 2 very good rennlist remote purchases from (NC and TX for a track 993 and Trailex), Falcondrivr is someone I would do business with w/o reservation.

He is patient and the market will come to him. If not this summer / fall, next Spring as the winter blues turn to dreams of driving in the spring.

GLWS sorry to see you leave the 993 fold, hope if finds a home with another rennlister.

Oh I won't be leaving the rennlist 993 fold. I've been trolling the 997 board and the 993 side is way more fun.

Sadly, Brian has gone quiet on me. I was holding a jalapeño popper basket in reserve for the hard close.
