Default Hargett Pro Shifter

Has anyone put one of these in a 993/964 variety? I have purchased one with the linkage kit to go into the 993 race car and it would be nice to get picture/tips if anyone has installed one.

It took a while to install, but Here are a few pictures. The shifter is plug and play for 88-89 G-50. However, it does not sit in the stock location and requires cutting the tunnel to install in 964/993 cars. To get the angle correct a 5-6" slot was cut in the back of the tunnel.

I have used it since the install and am very happy with how it works.

CAE shifter is very nice. The advantage is that with minimum alteration, it can fit in the stock shifter spot. I had bought the Hargett before knowing about CAE, but then considering the fabrication involved, I ordered a CAE from Hard Motorsport that is the US importer. It turned out that the Hart was receiving its first shipment from Germany, and ultimately the timing did not work out. I am happy with Hargett in the race car, but I do not see putting either one in a street car.
